Description
The microswitch gives the appliance the ability to perform certain actions dependent on certain stimuli. The microswitch in a hydraulic diverter valve, for example, is turned on when a tap that is connected to the system is is switched on. The microswitch then sends a notification to the PCB, letting it know that more hot water is needed and that the procedure for heating water should be activated. There are various types of microswitch dependent on the location and what mechanism they are attached to.
We recommend that all parts are fitted by a fully qualified gas safe certified engineer.
